Between lunch today and one retail stores I had 2 campaign stops for Day 109 of Campaign Smile. The results were either 100% positive or 100% negative. This is what I found…
1. At lunch today I was very surprised because all three of the people working there were all over the place, helping everyone with anything and everything they needed, smiling the whole time. They were extremely efficient as they alternately served, cleaned, took orders, refilled drinks, etc. and made the experience very pleasant.
2. At the retail store I found the opposite. The people were very attentive as 4 different people checked with me to see if they could help me. However, without smiles, they gave no impression that they had any desire to do so.
With a limited number of encounters I managed to garner 3 more smiles for the campaign today, making the total 384. Time for the weekend.
