Marching To A Different Tune

There were a lot of smiles on parade on this 95th Day of Campaign Smile.  Between lunch and the stores I visited this afternoon I saw a lot of good cheer and all of it was from the employees themselves.  I really enjoyed seeing that and, I’m sure, so did the other consumers.  It went like this…

1. At lunch both the person that helped me order my food and deliver it to me as well as the one that prepared it had smiles to share.

2. The first store I visited held several smile gifts.  The first gentleman employee that I encountered greeted me but did not smile.  The woman working there that I saw shortly after him, though, had a smile that seemed to be larger than she was.  A second woman that worked there also had a great smile.  Another gentleman was helping another customer as I walked by.  Still, he turned to acknowledge me and smile.

3. The only person I engaged today that was not working was a gentleman who simply scowled at me.  Though he did not bother me, he was the least positive person of my day.

4. At the second store I visited it was a very short visit and I only got a chance to smile at one person, a very nice young woman who was working there and returned the smile graciously.

4 more smiles today brings the total to 320!  Happy Friday everyone.
